KC7RWC-10 is the Umatilla County ARES Winlink Packet RMS.
KC7RWC-10 operates at the Umatilla County Sheriff's Office EOC in Pendleton, Oregon.
KC7RWC-10 supports Umatilla County Emergency Management and Morrow County Emergency Management.
Connections to KC7RWC-10 may be made via the ARES Black Mountain repeater: 145.230- MHz, PL Tone = 67.0 Hz.
The 145.230 repeater is dedicated to Packet Winlink message traffic for the Umatilla County and Morrow County EOCs.
The Sysop for KC7RWC-10 is Alan Polan, KE4TRR, Umatilla County ARES EC.

AB4NX is relocated and fully functional.

The AB4NX/AB4NX-10 hybrid gateway system has been relocated to Mt. Oglethorpe in Pickens County GA EM74UL. Ongoing improvements will greatly enhance coverage of 10 meters in North GA as well as the 145.710 gateway. Planned enhancements will include a VARA Wide RMS service as well for 2M. The gateway has been dedicated to and in support of GA ARES. All users are of course welcomed within the FCC guidelines. Please remember that all messages are reviewed for compliance of FCC rules and 3rd party agreements as required by good self-policing policies.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software.
