I have been planning with the OS to keep Winlink software to work.

I hope next week to load Linbpq and gett the various tnc with vfo control working on the Icom 746 pro and the 2 vhf packet tnc.

Will advise when were are back online

First Winlink VARA FM RMS in Chicago for EMMCOM and GENERAL use.
Please test with a large file and stopwatch.
Set your audio codec drive slider for fastest thruput.
REQUEST testing via the CFMC repeater, 70 mile range.
200 Watts on top of the AON building downtown Chicago.
Receive sites thruout greater Chicagoland.

The W7YAM-10 VHF RMS Gateway has been upgraded to include RMS Relay

RMS Relay on W7YAM-10 will normally be configured to pass Winlink messages to the CMS gateways while Internet connectivity exists. If there is no connectivity it will hold the mail and pass it to the CMS gateway once connectivity is resumed.

During drills and Simulated Emergency Tests (SET) it will be temporarily configured to behave as a mailbox only. The connection message should reflect this state. Notification of change in state of the gateway will also be provided on the Winlink.org Gateway Station News.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software.
