All ITU and FRME gateways restricted to 25 minutes non registered Vara HF use.

All ITU and FMRE gateways will only allow 25 minutes of a Vara HF connection, if Vara HF is not registered.

RMS Trimode version 1.3.40.1 is now installed on these systems.
* Add parameter to Vara Settings screen to specify maximum session length for calls coming from unregistered versions of Vara. Specify 0 minutes to block calls from unregistered Vara. This feature requires Vara HF version 4.4.5 or later on the RMS side, users do not need to upgrade.
25 minutes is the default, it can be adjusted.

XE2HS GATEWAY IN LA PAZ BACK UP

Sorry for the delay....

Had to obtain new Icom 7300, SCS Modem, and better computer.
Then had to ship same and configure via TeamViewer.

J73WIN Dominica ITU Gateway back in service.

Yes, 3 months without Internet is unacceptable, but locals were able to get it restored.
It did operate in HF auto mode, but no updates and not optimal operation.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
