New WINMOR 80M/40M/17M Station in NorCal

In an attempt to augment the 20M /17M PACTOR-only KB6YNO station here in Petaluma, I have set up WINMOR on an 80M dipole running 100W. This station has been on 100% emergency power for 15 months now and remained operational even though it is 20 miles from the epicenter of the Napa earthquake.

I will be working closely with Eric to assure no QRM from this gateway affects his station.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software.
