EA8URF is a new and small group of radio friends located in Fuerteventura island.

We have on air some dedicated equipmen for radio e-mail
The equipment:
1 Kenwood TS-50S scanning 14.100.9 - 7.049.9 - 21.118.0
1 Pactor modem SCS PTC-IIusb
1 Horizontal Dipole antenna in a 6m tall mast.
1 HP pavilion computer with W7
1 Kenwood TM-733E for VaraFM or Packet (now offline)

For now we are operating in PactorIII, Vara, Ardop and Winmor.
Our node was on air at 2019-10-01 14:17:13 with trimode versión: 1.3.25.0

W7YAM-10 Packet Gateway Has been Reset Back To Normal Operations

After completion of the up Oregon ARES S.E.T., Yamhill Couny ARES' W7YAM-10 RMS Packet station located on Eola Hills that was temporarily configured to be strictly in Post Office mode to simulate an Internet outage has now been reset to normal operations. All received messages will then be transferred to the CMS for distribution when ever the internet is present. If there is an internet outage, it will switch to Mailbox mode where recipients can retrieve mail from this gateway, or wait for recovery of the internet and mail will again be forwarded to CMS.

The Winlink Development Team is looking for talented software and hardware developers who have expertise in Digital Signal Processing, embedded firmware, RTOS, VB, C#, C, C++, dot-Net Core, Python, JavaScript, OSX, iOS, Android, Open-Source Project Management, GitHub and AWS experience. We need PCB Designer, fabricator and supply chain expertise. We need developers who can move our programs to new platforms and environments, keep pace with internet mail and security standards, and to help innovate for the future. Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
