SM5RVH - The T2FD antenna: much higher than before

The T2FD I'm using for HF-Winlink/Winmor is now much higher - over the ground - than before. Now it also has the broadside East-West (before it was North-South and the height much lower). The Tower to the left on the pictore is 24 meters high!

Please give it a try to connect to my station!

W0MAC Houston upgraded to Dragon + 7200

W0MAC, in Houston, was one of the original HF Winlink stations. As it has been most successful in assisting in emergency communications, it has just been upgraded to use an Icom 7200 and an SCS Dragon TNC. Further upgrades coming!
W0MAC was the original callsign of "Mac" Atteberry, who died in July 1999 in a Hermann Hospital Life Flight helicopter crash.

SM5RVH Wnlink HF-service is back online!

I managed to put up the T2FD on its second support again - a Little bit lower than before - but p in the air and I'm QRV!

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
