Hallo Kollegen und Freunde der DRK- KW!

Nachdem wir nun in WinLink eingestiegen sind und die ersten Hürden im GS gemeistert wurden, überlege ich ob man statt des Forums, welches vor sich hinplätschert, numehr diesen Weg einfach mal ausprobiert...

Dies ist ein erster Test, mal schaun was draus wird..

KD7UHR HF RMS Gateway testing new antenna and additional frequencies

The KD7UHR HF RMS Gateway continues to support the latest operational versions of WINMOR, VARA, and ARDOP but while testing a newly built and deployed broadband butterfly terminated dipole (BBTD) antenna, is now able to connect on four HF bands (80m, 40m, 30m, & 20m) to hopefully support a wider range of users over a greater area and more varied propagation conditions.

I appreciate your continued connection attempts and any feedback on this antenna's performance if you happen to be a regular patron of the KD7UHR gateway!

17 meters dropped on Mexico and Central America Gateways.

To reduce the scan time cycle and realizing 17 meters is not effective these days, we have ended its use.
Managed gateways affected:

Refresh your channel lists.
Almost no connects since 17 meters was added.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
