Good afternoon all,
Please be aware that our VE7NWZ RMS station might be inconsistently available as we work through the changes in a British Columbia EMCR computer technology refresh. Hopefully, the impact will be small to users.
Thanks,
Keith, VE7ECK

The new RMS station DB0HYC has been online since yesterday. The new station is located in the north of Germany and has an antenna with a low radiation angle. The antenna is placed on a wet and salty ground at a low noise QTH. DB0HYC is therefore specifically intended for the target area of the East Atlantic, Africa, the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, the North Atlantic and, of course, at certain times of the day also above. Actually the station ist active on 40m, 20m, and 15m. Currently, DB0HYC is active in Vara (fast as well as slow). Pactor 2,3,4 will follow shortly.
Found radio was powered down. Noticed some display issues on startup, but seemed to go away when dialing the frequency back into the rig.
So both VHF @ 144.970 and UHF W7YAM 441.050 on Eola Hill East of Amity at around 1100' are operational. Both are dual mode and support digipeating as W7YAM-6. Both has RMS Relay and will Hold For Internet on loss of internet. Held Messages can be picked up by connecting via standard Winlink Session connections.
