10 April 2026 - 1500 UTC - RESOLVED: removed the last two Windows updates and the server is functioning normally. OLD: Windows updates have broken Signalink on multiple devices. Audio is not working properly so the Winlink station is currently down while I troubleshoot this issue on multiple endpoints.

23 January 2026 1345 UTC – Winter storm preparations are complete. Continuity of operations for the KN4OLA-10 Winlink gateway has been validated for an extended commercial power outage.

DW1IRF-10 & other new Gateways in the Philippines (Updated) 11.10.2025

Here is the latest Update on our (PAREDN) Network in the Philippines. We now have 17 working Vara FM Winlink / BPQ32 BBS Gateways, (DW1IRF-10), (DX3H-10), (DW3EBG-10), (DU3FS-10), (4G1CLT-10), (DW1OTT-10), (DX1CW-10), (DU1AJ-10), (NF0O-10), (4I1QKF-10), (DX1PRD-10), (DU6MOT-10), (DV7RAR-10), (DX1BBC-10), (4F1PUZ-10), (DX3L-10) and (DX1E-10). We also now have a Vara HF Gateway (NF0O) to get emails out of the 3 regions that we now cover. Two of our Winlink / BBS Gateways runs on Starlink Satellite Internet. The (PAREDN) network runs on BPQ32 and RMS Tri-mode and RMS Packet.

The Winlink Development Team is looking for talented software and hardware developers who have expertise in Digital Signal Processing, embedded firmware, RTOS, VB, C#, C, C++, dot-Net Core, Python, JavaScript, OSX, iOS, Android, Open-Source Project Management, GitHub and AWS experience. We need PCB Designer, fabricator and supply chain expertise. We need developers who can move our programs to new platforms and environments, keep pace with internet mail and security standards, and to help innovate for the future. Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
