Winlink YT7MPB will be QRV as 3B8YT ...

MAURITIUS, 3B8. Winlink RMS station run by Misko YT7MPB will be QRV as 3B8YT (special callsign for IEEE RADIO 2023 conference) near Turtle Beach Balaclava from 26/04/2023 to 08/05/2023. Activity is mostly on 20 meters using data modes Pactor 1-4, Robust packet, and HF 300bd packet, mainly for technical demo & test of Winlink RMS and BBS forwarding capabilities from/to Mauritius. Maybe also some SSB and PSK31 with stations heard. QSL direct only (for those interested in it, HI).

N4CEC-10 VHF Gateway Internet Down; Digipeater Enabled

The dedicated Internet connection serving the N4CEC-10 VHF Winlink gateway in Chesapeake, VA is currently down with no ETA on service restoration.

N4CEC-10 is online and operating as a digipeater for local Vara FM stations who are unable to access KN4DUF-10 direct on the same frequency (145.090 MHz).

UHF W7YAM-10 Is Back In Service

After a visit to the site, fixing the two issues that caused the problem, and reorganizing the gateway hardware to make maintence a little easier,:
The W7YAM-10 UFH RMS Gateway at 441.050 is operational once again. This gateway also supports PACKET and VARA FM Digipeating as W7YAM-6.

We need PCB Designer, fabricator and supply chain expertise. We need developers who can move our programs to new platforms and environments, keep pace with internet mail and security standards, and to help innovate for the future. Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software.
