3B8DU station closing permanently

Dear All,

My Winlink station has been up for a few years but with much traffic and none for the past 2 years, thus not really worth keeping all the equipment for that purpose as may be better used for other activities.

I therefore decided to close the operations.

It was a great experience and I am quite proud to have routed 2 sailboats out of danger from cyclones and one send me a message stating "without you I would have been a bundle of sticks", so great to have been somehow helpful to fellow seafarers.

I will check from time to time on the position map in case there is traffic in the region or upon request I may reactivate it.

I thanks all for the support during the past years.
