The computer hosting RMS gateway W6SCF-10 is once again online. The problem was a run down CMOS memory retention battery which reverted the power-on setting to the computer's factory default. This left the computer "off" after its weekly, scheduled power-cycle.
W6SCF-10 failed to restart again this week. Unfortunately I am not able to visit the site until at least Monday afternoon. I have emailed the site owner in hope they may be around to power cycle the computer earlier.
In the mean time the digipeat function continues to operate and there are several RMS stations within range.
W6SCF-10 went offline early Sunday morning when it failed to restart following a scheduled power down. It was manually re-started Monday at approximately 2000PDT and was confirmed operational.
During the computer outage the built in digipeater continued to operate, providing Winlink access to the served area via neighboring stations.
