It appears that my gateay is up and running a of this evening Monday 3/30. It would be great if some testing by stations could take place.

The gateway is up on the following DIAL freq - 7060.000 (N) 7102.300 (W) 3597.000 (W) 3583.000 (N)

Let me know what happens if you swing by to connect.

W6IDS Is Off Line Temporarily

The station has been down for about two weeks or so due to a catastrophic computer failure and falling tree limbs taking own my wire antennas.
Another computer is in the works

Will advise when I'm back up and running.

W6IDS PACTOR III Frequency 2ndThoughts

Hate learning curves. Second thoughts as to the WIDE frequency choices. I now have PIII , ARDOP 2000 and VARA 2300 on 3598.5 CF (3597.000 DIAL) and 7103.800 CF (7102.300 DIAL).

PACTOR II, ARDOP 500 and VARA 500 are parked on 7084.500 CF (7083.000 DIAL), 7061.500 CF (7060.000 DIAL) and 3584.500 CF (3583.000 DIAL).

Trying to avoid conflicts. Again, if you have the interest, go flex my system a bit and see if it responds to you properly. Throw some feedback my way please.

The Winlink Development Team is looking for talented software and hardware developers who have expertise in Digital Signal Processing, embedded firmware, RTOS, VB, C#, C, C++, dot-Net Core, Python, JavaScript, OSX, iOS, Android, Open-Source Project Management, GitHub and AWS experience. We need PCB Designer, fabricator and supply chain expertise. We need developers who can move our programs to new platforms and environments, keep pace with internet mail and security standards, and to help innovate for the future. Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
