Hate learning curves. Second thoughts as to the WIDE frequency choices. I now have PIII , ARDOP 2000 and VARA 2300 on 3598.5 CF (3597.000 DIAL) and 7103.800 CF (7102.300 DIAL).
PACTOR II, ARDOP 500 and VARA 500 are parked on 7084.500 CF (7083.000 DIAL), 7061.500 CF (7060.000 DIAL) and 3584.500 CF (3583.000 DIAL).
Trying to avoid conflicts. Again, if you have the interest, go flex my system a bit and see if it responds to you properly. Throw some feedback my way please.
While my PTC-IIe was at Farallon for repairs and upgrades, I had the PIII license/ESN installed as well. PACTOR 2/3 is running on 3598.500 CF (3597.000 DIAL) and on 7103.500 CF (7102.000 DIAL) along with VARA 2300 and ARDOP 2000. I would appreciate some reports by stations who have flexed my system a bit on those freqs. It's my first excursion into the subbands. If there are any issues, I'd like to know.
The reported shutdown was due to two quickly spaced AC Mains interruption. No surge protector in place for the power outlet strip for the microHAM interface and my PacComm PTC II modem. They both took the hit with the microHAM leaving the scene and the PTC II modem now at Farallon being evaluated for repair. I have an SCS PTC-IIe modem that I put into service.
