HB9AK: back to normal operation on 40/30 m (fixed frequency)

After successful repair of the 30m TRX (RX was dead due to a blown fuse F911 in the TS-590), HB9AK is back to fixed frequency operation on 40 and 30m. There is one TRX for 40 m and one for 30 m, responding immediately to any connect attempt.

Digipeater HR2DDL-8

A digipeater Kantronics KPC 3 plus 8.3 and a Yaesu FT 1500 on 145.090 Mhz, was installed at 1500 meters above sea level (HR2DDL-8) to give better coverage of the Winlink FM packet system to RMS packet gateway HR2DDL-10 for the Valley of Sula in Cortes, Honduras. Also with some possible coverage for areas of TG7 area and the Gulf of Honduras. Test performed with 5 watts at La Lima, El Progreso and Lake Yojoa at cerro La Joya.

W6SCF-10 Back Online

W6SCF-10 went offline early Sunday morning when it failed to restart following a scheduled power down. It was manually re-started Monday at approximately 2000PDT and was confirmed operational.

During the computer outage the built in digipeater continued to operate, providing Winlink access to the served area via neighboring stations.
