TG0CND was maintained

Yesterday 21/02/2024 the gateway identified as TG0CND was maintained.

This maintenance was carried out by technician TG9EWR Ender with the support and coordination before the SE Conred authorities of the Coordinator of the Amateur Radio Emergency Service and Delegate before the SE Conred TG9SRP Sigfrido.

Scheduled maintenance for TG0CND

Next Wednesday, 02/21/2023, preventive maintenance will be performed on the TG0CND gateway from 09:00 to 12:00.

During this day and time the gateway service will be suspended or will be unstable.

We will publish when the maintenance is finished and the use of the gateway is released.

TG9SRP-10 back on the air

With the support of colleagues TG9EWR Ender and TG9ADQ Mario, the EMCOR of the TG area visited the facilities of the COEM Municipal Emergency Operations Center to put the TG9SRP-10 gateway back into operation, which was out of service when the RF equipment out of operation.

The respective technical revisions were made by the technician TG9EWR Ender to put the RF equipment back into operation and the colleague TG9ADQ Mario supported remotely with the equipment tests.

Outstanding Volunteers

The Winlink system is run entirely by volunteers. Those called Gateway Station Sysops, who support and run over a thousand stations around the world, are special. They are essential for providing the radio network that allows us to use Winlink radio email. Without them, there is no Winlink. If you use Winlink radio email, make sure to thank your sysops by sending them an email to their RMSCALLSIGN-at-winlink.org address.You can find their contact information by mousing over their call sign on the RMS List tab here.

Apart from the Gateway Station Sysops and Development Team, there are other volunteers that run e-mail groups and tutorials, manage user accounts, register software, update the network's assets and catalogs, test and debug products, provide training, and independently write software. They all work together to keep the Winlink system running smoothly. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers, authors and developers who contribute to the Winlink system.
