I have removed the AL0R HF RMS from the Hybrid network.
This means that you cannot submit radio only messages or choose it as an MPS.
This decision is to prevent users from submitting RMS Post Office messages that may languish and are at risk of loss. If and when the WDT chooses to provide the ability to selectively disable services, this RMS will return to the Hybrid network.
Further work has brought an additional wide area VARA FM node online, AL0R-14. A second VHF port at the AL0R-10 site will allow digi access from AL0R-14 shortly.
Coverage maps remain conservative, with several users making long (60+ mile connections.) The inner ring is 50 miles and the outer ring is 75 miles.
Internet access has finally been secured at this location.
As a reminder, AL0R-6 can also digi to AL0R-8, -10, and -12, with -10 being collocated with the AL0R HF RMS.
AL0R-6, -8, -10, and -12 all operate on 145.07 currently, enabling greater than Omaha VARA FM connections vis Winlink Express P2P, RMS, and VarAC applications.
